 Get Involved with the NTDO

The NTDO is active year-round. In election and non-election years, we maintain an office at 800 Oak Street in Winnetka. This election year, facing a tough US Congressional race in the 10th District, we are especially busy.

In the NTDO office, and in New Trier neighborhoods, everyone can get involved. NTDO volunteers choose their own tasks and set their own levels of participation:

  • Contacting new Township residents
  • Registering voters
  • Supplying absentee ballots
  • Staffing NTDO telephones
  • Helping with mailings
  • Distributing Democratic literature
  • Canvassing for favorable voters
  • Getting voters out on election day
  • Hosting a neighborhood coffee for a candidate
  • Accompanying a candidate door-to-door in your neighborhood
